Placing a Bet

Here's a quick guide on how to place your racing bets with TABozbet. Login using your TAB account number and password, then follow the steps below and you'll be betting in no time.

1. Selecting a Race

To start betting, you need to select a race. There are a number of ways in which you can select your preferred race:

1. Select a meeting from the meetings list within the racing section and select a race from the race list; or
2. Select "Next 15 Races" from the "Racing Info" pulldown menu or the using the link under the meetings list. You can then select a race from the list of the next 15 races to jump Alternatively you can select "Next Race", which will take you to the very next race to jump; or
3. Select "All Races" from the "Racing Info" pulldown menu or the link under the meetings list. You can then select a race from the list of all races scheduled for today.

2. Selecting a Bet Type

Once you have selected a race, you then need to click on the "Totes" link which will automatically take you to the bet screen to place a WIN/PLACE bet. You can choose from a variety of different bet types by clicking on the links in the pool tabs above the field list.

Most races will enable you to choose from WIN/PLACE, QUINELLA, EXACTA and TRIFECTA. On selected races you can also choose from FIRST 4, DOUBLES and QUADDIE betting.

The "All Races" list confirms if FIRST 4, DOUBLES or QUADDIE bets are available by listing them in the last column name "Bet Types".

3. Placing a Bet

Placing a bet is very simple at TABozbet.

Once you have arrived at the bet screen it is simply a matter of selecting the contenderrunner(s) you wish to bet on and the amount you wish to invest.

There are two ways you can select the level of investment:

1. a) type in the amount you wish to invest; or
2. b) click on the investment grid to automatically add up the boxes you have selected.
   
   

If you are unsure what the level of investment is you can select bet cost, this will calculate the investment for you prior to you sending the bet.

Once you are happy with your choices, simply click on the "Confirm Bet" button.

4. Confirming Your Bet

Once you hit the "Confirm Bet" button, you will see a confirmation screen with your bet details.

Your bet has not been placed at this stage. Check the bet details carefully:

1. If your bet details are not correct, hit the "Cancel" button and place your bet again; or
2. If correct, click the "Place Bet" button. Your bet will be placed and cannot be cancelled.
